The LDL has two private rooms (cap. 45 people) and a large lounge area (cap. 120 people) available for your private events.
Over the summer, our patio will also be available for private bookings!

The LDL is proud to host many community events with the Graduate Student Associations, student groups, staff and departments to strengthen the community here at the University of Calgary.

About Us

The Last Defence Lounge (LDL) is a fully licensed restaurant operated by the Graduate Students' Association of the University of Calgary, and located on the third floor MacEwan Student Centre (MSC 350).

The LDL welcomes the entire University of Calgary community and their guests. Our members include all faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students, and all alumni - regardless of the year of graduation.

Minors welcome.
